WorldatWork — a national human resources association with its headquarters in Scottsdale — has named a new CEO.
Scott Cawood has been picked by WorldatWork’s board to succeed the retiring Anne Ruddy.
The group — which also has a large office in Washington D.C. — focuses on human resources, workplace, benefits and compensation issues and research. Cawood will be based out of the Arizona office.
Ruddy has been the human resources group’s president and CEO for the past 17 years. She is retiring and will step down in June.
Cawood joins the human resources from W.L. Gore & Associates where he served as global leader or organizational effectiveness.
The manufacturer has 10,000 employees.
He was also president of sales and compensation for Snygy and worked for Revlon and the Great Places to Work Institute
“I’m eager to join an organization that is so well poised to influence the daily experience of thousands of employees worldwide,” Cawood said. “It’s an exceptional honor, and I look forward to making even greater strides with the amazing team at WorldatWork.”
