Dice, a leading online tech career hub, has partnered with digital media publisher Bustle to deliver engaging tech career insights and tech content to millennial women everywhere.
Together, Dice and Bustle will create career content that is centered around tech for Bustle readers. As the premier digital destination for millennial women, the fresh content will reach Bustle’s diverse audience of nearly 50 million unique readers a month and focus on the future tech landscape, advancing women in technology, and promoting diversity within the tech industry.
Michael Durney, president and CEO of DHI Group Inc., the parent company of Dice, said Bustle was ideally positioned for Dice to carry out the mission of empowering the next generation of technology professionals by providing them with relevant career insights and solid job advice. “It’s crucial that we recognize the tremendous achievements women make in the technology industry and promote those who are making an impact today and leading our future,” Durney stated.
Dice will also co-sponsor Bustle’s third annual Upstart Awards. The Upstart Awards honor young female graduates who have made remarkable achievements in STEM and other select industries. Nominations for the awards have been extended to August 31, 2017, and can be made here.
Kate Ward, editor-in-chief of Bustle Digital Group, said Bustle was excited to celebrate this year’s Upstart Awards with Dice. She praised them for being committed to elevating women in tech. “We’re looking forward to welcoming our honorees – spanning industries from fashion to film to medicine and, of course, to STEM – and toasting their numerous accomplishments, while introducing Upstart’s panels and programs that aim to support women on their roads to entrepreneurship,” Ward said. “There will be no shortage of inspiration in the room!”
In addition to their content and award partnership, Dice and Bustle will also create innovative campaigns promoting women in the technology industry and initiatives to encourage girls to embark upon a future career in tech.
