Binder is well qualified for the new role with extensive experience in finance and business management by working with technology companies from around the world. Having previous roles in financial leadership, Binder’s recent position was the role of Chief Financial Officer of VIZIO, Inc.
Michael Burdiek, President and Chief Executive Officer at CalAmp, made the following statement on the new hire:
“Kurt brings highly relevant experience to our company in support of our ongoing transformation. He has been a key executive leader and change agent at VIZIO, where he was instrumental in providing the finance vision and strategy to help propel the organization to higher levels of accomplishment. With Kurt at the finance helm, I expect his contributions to be vital in executing our near and long-term corporate objectives.”
CalAmp has experienced great success with Rick Vitelle’s presence, and with the accomplishments of Kurtis Binder, the company will look to continue to pursue its position as one of the leading technology companies in the world.
