Canon U.S.A. Inc., a leading provider of consumer, business-to-business, and industrial digital imaging solutions to the United States and to Latin America and Caribbean markets, has named Kenji Sato as the new president and CEO of Canon Information and Imaging Solutions (CIIS).
In addition to his newly appointed role with CIIS, Sato will continue to serve as vice president and general manager of Canon U.S.A.’s Information Technology Group.

Sato has spent his entire career with Canon in some form. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Musashi Institute of Technology, Sato began working in 1982 in Japan with Canon Inc., the parent company of Canon U.S.A. Between 1987 and 2005, Sato held positions with Canon Europe, Canon Canada, and Canon China. In 2005, Sato moved to the United States to begin working with Canon U.S.A. In all of his assignments, Sato spearheaded the effort to implement new IT systems for each respective subsidiary.
CIIS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A. Inc. which delivers compelling market-driven solutions in the area of business process automation, procure-to-pay and accounts payable automation, order-to-cash automation, inventory management automation, records management, and print management.
