GS Marketing, a full-service direct marketing and digital agency specializing in the automotive industry, has formally unveiled GSM Social Advertising.
The new product offers an additional marketing channel that propels a dealer’s marketing strategy and increases online and in-store traffic to their dealership. The company described its new venture as a progressive and critical component of an omnichannel strategy which propels a dealer’s marketing mix and extends the life of ongoing campaigns.
The first channel, Social Advertising via Facebook, is available now. According to a company press release announcing the product, Social Advertising via Facebook offers three types of campaigns:
- overall branding to engage customers
- sales to generate more leads
- and service to increase parts and service revenue
With the above solutions, the auto industry has the opportunity to grow their brand awareness on the largest and most-used social platform in the world – Facebook. In-house experts at GSM work closely with dealerships to set up ads that extend the life of ongoing paper mail and email campaigns.
GSM decided to include this channel because research has shown that automotive ads on Facebook receive a 2x higher click-through rate than a typical Facebook ad. This critical component helps drive opportunities to dealerships, which results in increased traffic to the dealer’s site.
