Staff One HR has partnered with insurance company Aetna to offer a master medical plan to the national marketplace.
In a company press release announcing the partnership, Staff One HR CEO Mark Sinatra said, “Partnering with Aetna provides our clients with the strength of a leading carrier that is also deeply experienced and committed to the PEO industry. We serve clients across the country, so it’s important to have a national network that meets the needs of our diverse client base.”
According to data from the NCSL, annual health insurance premiums reached $18,142 in 2016 for an average American family. Americans who are buying insurance on an exchange or private market plan for 2017 may see an increase of 25% or more. With this in mind, Staff One HR’s partnership with Aetna will allow it to offer its clients a variety of plan designs, featuring low, mid-range, and high deductibles. With a master medical plan, Staff One HR will have greater buying power and will be able to provide rate stability for its clients, helping minimize unexpected increases.
Donna Meek, Executive Vice President at Staff One HR, praised the partnership as a significant value-add to the company’s clients. “In fact, one of our clients said to me, ‘What a huge difference you are making for us and other business owners, to not only provide HR solutions, but to also help control health insurance costs,'” Meek recalled.
Staff One HR is a Dallas-based HR managed services company that provides PEO, ASO, and recruiting services to clients in 44 states. The company earned a spot on the 2015 and 2016 Inc. 5000, and has also earned the Employer Services Assurance Corporation (ESAC) and Certification Institute accreditation, the highest level of accreditation in the PEO industry.
