Melanie Kalemba has joined the executive leadership team at Webgility, the leader in multi-channel e-commerce automation software.
The former BigCommerce executive will bring enterprise channel, partnership, and e-commerce expertise to the rapidly growing market leader as its new Senior Vice President of Partnerships and Business Development. She will also be responsible for developing strategic relationships with key players, leading the company’s thriving partner program, and bringing innovative solutions to Webgility’s rapidly growing customer base.
In a company press release announcing Kalemba’s addition to the team, Webgility founder and CEO Parag Mamnani, said, “Melanie has been a friend of Webgility since we worked closely together to structure our partnership with BigCommerce five years ago. Her career-long advocacy for SMBs, enthusiasm for e-Commerce, and prowess building high-level relationships will be tremendous assets to our company as we continue to grow.”
Kalemba is a seasoned SMB expert and advocate who started her career in marketing at large brands such as Cisco and Dell. Afterwards, she became the president and CEO of Movero, a VC backed managed services company where she helped raise multiple rounds of funding. She then headed strategic business development, global sales, and channel during her tenure at BigCommerce, where she structured high-level partnerships with major players such as Intuit and PayPal. Most recently, Kalemba served as senior vice president and general manager of enterprise business for Verve, where she helped nurture and build the company’s SMB offerings.
